Herbert Stevie Short

Herbert Stevie Short, age 51 of Fork Mountain passed away Friday, August 20, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jason and Mary Louise Short; and a brother, Mark A. Short. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Short; children, Mark and Marissa Short of the home and Bryan Short (Kaysee) of Henry; grandchildren, Da`Lani, Liam, and one expected in January 2011. Also surviving are brothers, Eddie Short (Shelby), of Fork Mt., Glen Short and Tim Short (Tammy) of Denton N.C.; sisters include, Teresa Morgan and Tina Johnson of Denton N.C.; seven nieces and four nephews. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2010 at New Vision Baptist Church with Brian Vaughn officiating. His family will receive friends following services.
