Herman "Pete" H. Brown

Herman H. “Pete” Brown, age 72 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at his home near Burnt Chimney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin James Brown and Precious Scruggs Brown; brothers, Herbert Brown and Fred “Black” Brown. Surviving are his wife, Ae H. Brown; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Christine B. McGuire and husband Haywood, Mary Jane Sigmon and husband Ray; brothers and sister-in-law, Lloyd T. Brown and Billy R. Brown and wife Marsha; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. In lieu of flowers and food, memorial donations may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
