Horace Navy Gardner

Horace Navy Gardner, age 83 of Rocky Mount passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018. He was the son of the late Thomas E. and Virgie W. Gardner; also preceding him in death were his brothers, Herbert, Woody and Carroll; sisters, Virginia, Callie, Evelyn, Ivadell and Polly. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Pearl; son, John; daughter, Amy (H.P.) McDaniel; grandson, Thomas Gardner; granddaughter, Haley McDaniel. He retired from DuPont after 25 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
