Guthrie, Jr.; brothers, Lewis and Jerri Owen, John and Louise Owen, and Woodrow and Mary-Lou Owen; sisters, Frankie and Herndan (Buster) Hogan, Georgia and Byrd Gilbert; and brother-in-law, Wesley Austin.

Much love to my “dear family” and my special and loving friend Bennie Angell.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Friday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done, I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times, bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve today before the sun and think of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
