Irene S. Scott

Irene S. Scott, 92 of Wirtz died Wednesday, August l7, 2011. She was born April 11, l9l9 a daughter of the late James H. and Lydia S. Sink. She was also preceded in death by her husband Frank H. Scott, Sr.; brothers, Ezra and James Sink; sisters, Dorothy Scott and Pauline Foster. Mrs. Scott was retired from E. I. DuPont. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Frank H. Scott, Jr. and Gloria; grandsons, Kevin Scott (Donna), Travis Scott (Anita); granddaughter, Mechelle Gillispie (Andy); two great- granddaughters; one step-great-grandson; two great grandsons; one great-great granddaughter; one great-great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park ll: 00 A.M. Saturday. The family suggests memorial donations be made to a favorite charity. Her family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
