Iris Cooper Robertson

Iris Cooper Robertson, 77, passed away on June 17, 2016. She was the widow of Samuel Randolph Robertson and the daughter of the late George Victor and Helen Jamison Cooper. She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Wilton Victor and Margaret McInturff Cooper. Iris is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Randolph and Deborah Holland Robertson of Rocky Mount; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Robertson and Michael David Allman; grandsons, Hunter and Ash Robertson, and a special cousin, Judy Fisher. The family will receive friends at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount, between 6 and 8 p.m. on Monday June 20, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at Rocky Mount Baptist Church where Iris was a member at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 with Rev. J. Larry Holland officiating. A procession will follow to Franklin Memorial Park for burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Rocky Mount Baptist Church General Fund, 85 West Church Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
