Iris B. Sink

Iris B. Sink, age 92 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Sink; parents, Forrest and Mary Bussey; and sister, Rebecca Renick. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, J.W. and Kathy Sink; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Keith Sykes; grandchildren, Christina Alexander (David), Beth Smith (Kevin), Brian Sykes, Stephanie Wright (Tony), Ashley Overholt (Nick); many great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Woodford; brothers, Claude Bussey, F.D. Bussey, Jr., James H. Bussey, Wayne Bussey; foster brother, John Gilbert; nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregivers, Sally Martin and Sandra Mullins. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Billy Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Church of the Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County, 390 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
