Irvin L. Craighead

Irvin “Hoppy” Craighead, age 75 of Rocky Mount died at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mae Craighead of Bent Mountain; and seven siblings. Surviving are his wife, Elaine “Cindy” Craighead of the home; four children, Jeff Craighead and wife Marjie, Frank Craighead and wife Olivia Thompson, Sherry Blythe Spruell and husband Dave all of Cave Spring, Barbara Hancock and husband Todd of Ferrum; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five siblings; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Craighead’s wishes were to be cremated and no services. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
