Ivy Rose Brubaker

Ivy Rose Brubaker, age 90, of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born January 2, 1932 and was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lowell D. Brubaker; parents, Joe C. and Callie Wray Angle; five brothers, Forrest, Houston, Leo, John Robert and Alva Angle; and three sisters, Christine Stanley, Judith Thompson and Rowena Boone. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Debbie Brubaker of Rocky Mount, Jeffrey and Sandy Brubaker of Pickerington, Ohio; grandchildren, Abby Brubaker and Ryan Brubaker both of Rocky Mount, Matthew Brubaker of Pickerington, Ohio, Christopher Brubaker (fiancée Lindsey Penrod) of Columbus, Ohio; sisters-in-law LaVern Angle and Letha B. Milliron; and many special nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her caregivers Faye, Carol, Donna, Melanie and Martha for their tender care to Ivy Rose. Funeral services will be conducted at Antioch Church of the Brethren Sunday, November 13, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Andy Duffey and Tim Emmons officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Angle Cemetery Fund c/o Glenda Howell, 2527 Simmons Mill Road, Thaxton, VA 24174. Her family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, November 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
