Jack Allen Altice, Jr.

Jack Allen Altice, Jr., age 55 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca “Becky” James Altice; sister, Nancy Altice; grandparents, Parker and Thelma Leffue, Joseph and Cora Altice. He was employed as a computer analyst at Advance Auto Corporate Headquarters. Surviving are his wife, Gennella “Jill” Altice; sons, Jacob and Alvin; father, Jack Altice, Sr.; sister, Alyce Newman; special grandchild, Tyler; three other grandchildren, Elijah, Kylea, and Casey; aunts and uncles, Beulah and Eddie Childress, Christine Stump, Doris Price, Billy James; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Hannah and Jerome Martin, Tara and Eppie Garza, Konitz and Maggie Hughes, Brian Belcher, Mike and Brenda Belcher; special brother-in-law, Richard Gore; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be conducted from Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Bruce Huffman, Rev. Richard Gore and Rev. Frank Toney officiating. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
