Jacob William Laprad, age 75 of Boones Mill, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
He was born on May 30, 1931 a son of the late Jacob M. and Eva M. Laprad. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Ann St. Clair, Melva Surface; brother, Jesse Laprade.
Mr. Laprad is survived by his son, Danny W. Laprade and wife Kathy Laprade; daughter and son-in-law, Susanne L. Webb and husband Ray L. Webb; grandchildren, Catina S. Webb, Quentin Webb, Samantha Paxton, Tony Martin, Cheyenne Martin, Ronald L. Duncan, Shirley L. Wilcher, Peggy Duncan; sister, Mae Wilburn; brother, Billy Bob Laprade and wife Linda; 11 great-grandchildren; and countless nieces, nephews and close friends.
A memorial service will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday.
His family will be receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
