James Coy Anderson

James Coy Anderson “Streaker,” age 70, born September 23, 1955, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was proceeded in death by his parents, James L. and Yvonne V. Anderson, his sister Michelle Jones, and his beloved pet Autumn. Surviving are his sister, Carol Wood (Brent); brother-in-law, Joey Jones; daughters, Amanda Roberts (Dwayne), Valerie Anderson, and Brittney Vessell (Andy); nine grandchildren, Tyler & Zachary Truman, Travis & Brandon Roberts, Nathaniel & Nicholas Ayers, Hailey & Kaytlin Dyar, and Aiden Carter; two great-grandsons, Jacob Young and Silas Minor, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Coy was a distinctive individual with a keen interest in woodcutting, gardening, and farming on the family farm and driving a tractor and trailer. He was recognized for his sense of humor and frequent attempts to entertain those around him. With expertise in woodworking and construction, he often assisted friends with their projects and enjoyed attending auctions. In his later years, he developed a strong affinity for attending church services. His presence will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held at Flint Hill Community Church, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flint Hill Methodist Church.
