James Sherwood Arrington

James Sherwood Arrington, age 62 of Rocky Mount, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday October 20, 2007. Mr. Arrington was born May 1, 1945, a son of the late James E. and Helen Robertson Arrington. Surviving are his sons James Michael Arrington and Steve Arrington; brother Troy Arrington; mother-in-law Thelma Haley; and numerous cousins and special friends. His family would especially like to thank the staff of the UVA Medical Center and Carilion Hospice Services of Franklin County. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Thomas Siddle officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson Family Cemetery. Friends may call after 3p.m. Tuesday with his family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
