James Calvin Clingenpeel

James Calvin Clingenpeel age 74 of Moneta passed away Sunday November 27, 2016. He was born in Boones Mill on November 10, 1942 to the late Harry and Pearl Clingenpeel and was also preceded in death by his brother, David Clingenpeel. James served in the United States Army from 1963-1965, was a retiree from Roanoke City Police Dept. and was currently employed by the Franklin County Sherriff’s Office. Surviving are his wife, Gayle Clingenpeel; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Cindy Clingenpeel; grandson, Anders Clingenpeel; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Sandra Clingenpeel, and Tommy and Anne Clingenpeel. Memorial services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 with Dr. Jackie Spence officiating.. His family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m.Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at James’s home.
