James B. Cox, Jr., age 56 of Boones Mill, died Sunday, December 14, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William E. (Jack) and Hazel Cox, Fred Deyerle and Virginia Hill; parents, James B. Cox and Marilyn Deyerle.
James is survived by his wife, Debbie Cox; children, James Derick Cox, James Bradley Cox, Jason Aron Harden, Jennifer Lovern and husband Charles; grandchildren, Heather Cox, Zach Smith, Quinton Spradlin, Leeanna Harden, James Robert Harden; sister, Debra Tyree; brother, John Cox; half-brothers, David Cox, Michael Cox, Barry Cox, Andy Cox and Jamie Cox; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Carol Harden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobby Harden, Connie and Willie Ayers, Kevin and Betty Harden.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Whitey Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
His family will be receiving friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
