James Edward Perdue Prillaman, Sr., age 47 of Penhook and formerly of Henry County died Monday, March 24, 2008 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnne Perdue Boardwine; grandfather James Edward Perdue; aunt Frances Perdue Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife April Prillaman; his children, Alice Virginia Armstrong and husband Gary Curtis Armstrong of Martinsville; Dustin Heath George; James Edward Perdue “Jamie” Prillaman, Jr., Taylor Marie George and Zachary Shane Robinette; grandchildren, Jamie Marie Armstrong, Heaven Elizabeth Biggs, Brendan Michael Armstrong and Kirsten Nichole Armstrong; father, Billy Everette Prillaman; grandmother, Ruth Ella Perdue; brothers James Garnet Marlowe, III and wife Patricia Palmer; David Len Marlowe; uncle, David Edward “Pete” Perdue; niece Jessica Palmer; five cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted from Free Saints Holiness Church, Mt. Zion Road, Penhook 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Belle Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Free Saints Holiness Church c/o Rev. Belle Robertson, 3416 Novelty Road, Penhook, VA 24137.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
