James Robert Riley

James Robert Riley, age 81 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, May 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Riley and Carroll Hazel Feagans Riley; and son, Glenn Alan Riley. Mr. Riley retired as a Letter Carrier from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Marie L. Riley; son, James Robert Riley, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Donna Lee Riley Sherman of New Bern, NC; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolanne Riley Ingram of Citra, FL, Patricia Riley Oliver (Teedy) of Alpharetta, GA, and Joyce Riley Fiddler of Berryville, VA. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
