Dr. James H. Rucker, Jr.

Dr. James H. Rucker, Jr., age 65 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1952 and served the community through his dental practice in Rocky Mount for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Dr. James and Juliette Rucker. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Rucker; children, Simon (Amanda) Rucker, and Sarah (Kevin) Campbell; a very special grandson, Eli Rucker; a sister, Linda (Van) Hubbard; and brother, Sam (Debbie) Rucker; as well as several nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Furnace Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Philip Bramblet officiating.
