James Edward Sanders, Sr.

James Edward Sanders, Sr., age 73 of Callaway passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born September 18, 1943, a son of the late John and Susie Sanders and was also preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Sanders. Surviving are his wife, Mary Sanders, his children and spouses, James and Barbara Sanders, Ralph and Janice Martin, Marvin and Sharon Sanders, Elizabeth Thurman, Becky Ransome, Jeff and Heather Sanders, 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Joe Sanders ( Teresa), in-laws, Tommy , Jay and Bobby Beckner, Susan Sanders and Virginia Akers (Billy), lots of friends and his canine companions, Maggie and Dixie. Graveside services will be conducted at the Guilliams Family Cemetery, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
