Jami D. Simpkins

Jami Deabora Simpkins, age 51 of Glade Hill, was called home on Friday, May 16, 2020. She was born December 3, 1968 in Franklin County to James E. Light and to the late Glenna Light. She was also predeceased by her grandmother, Mami Light and brother, Timmy Worrell. She is survived by the love of her life, her fiancé, Melvin Holland; beloved pets, Bo, Chico, and Floppy; her loving father, James E. Light; sons, Jonathan Tolley (Kristin) and William Simpkins (Angelica); grandchildren; and brothers, Mark (Randy) Worrell (Barbara) and Ricky Cline (Rachel).She was dearly loved by her “Pops” Perry Holland and “Mom”, the late Marjorie Holland and the Holland Family. Jami loved the outdoors and working with flowers and gardening. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the many outdoor activities introduced to her by her fiancé.
