Jan Dale Altice

Jan Dale Altice, age 73 of Glade Hill died Monday, May 14, 2018. He was born August 1, 1944 a son of the late Leonard and Eva Altice. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Altice. Surviving are his wife, Colleen Altice; step-daughter, Amanda Wheeler and husband Melvin James; grandchildren, Aryanna James, Nathan James; brothers, Clay Altice (Loretta), Justin Altice (Janet); sister-in-law, Ann Altice; several nieces and nephews including special nephew, Gary Altice; and special friends, Barry Spec, Pete Brown, James Bryant and Ronnie Caldwell. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in the Altice Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
