Janet Hunt Hodges

Janet Hunt Hodges, age 63 of Rocky Mount, died Sunday, December 23, 2007. She was born on June 16, 1944. Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Lorraine Jones Hunt; sister, Dulcie Maude Hunt Coon; brother, Radford Wayne Hunt; son, Timothy Cleo Hodges. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Cleo Hodges; daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Jr. Minnix, Jessica and Ben Turner; grandchildren, Benjamin Minnix, Savannah Minnix and “Shady” Turner; father, Oliver Radford Hunt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Dennis Johnson, Nelda and Jeff Hopkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ardie (Butch) and Darlene Hunt, Kenneth Woodsen Hunt, David and Kathy Hunt; special friends and babysitters, Dorothy Forbes, Betty Young, Connie Elkins and Nancy Hodges; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 – 5 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
