Janie Fisher Turman, age 92 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, December 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Turman; her parents, Joseph and Arbelia Kingery Fisher; two brothers and six sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Charlotte Hamilton (Doyle); sons, Barry Turman, Richie Turman, Larry Turman (Mary), Steve Turman (Crystal); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Dangerfield. A private graveside service will be conducted at Franklin Memorial Park. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
