Jean Maxey Jones, age 72 of Rocky Mount, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Vera Maxey; two brothers, Wilmer Maxey and Kenneth Maxey. Surviving are her son, Gary Hudson; grandchildren, Lindsey, Brittany, Matthew, Carrie and Duane Hudson; brother, Ferris Maxey; sister, Arlene Dudley (Haywood); many nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at Franklin Memorial Park, 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
