Jean Perdue

Miriam Jean Perdue, age 60 of Rocky Mount, VA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born April, 23, 1956 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Jean was devoted to her family and friends as well as her cat babies. Jean was always up for a good prank or joke and never met a stranger as she was loved by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee Perdue, and her mother, Helen Gertrude Perdue. Left to cherish her memory and kind spirit are her sisters; Dorenda Kaye Perdue, Sandra Perdue McCoy, and Teresa Perdue Aurnou; brother, Mark Perdue; nephew, Hunter Gordon McCoy; nieces; Amanda McCoy Lawhorn (Brian), Meredith McCoy Kinion (Robert), Madison Elise Aurnou; host of great-nephews and a great-niece; her beloved kitten babies and her Franklin Restaurant family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Flora Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount. The Franklin Restaurant will be closed on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in loving memory of Jean Perdue.
