Jeanette Freels Giles

Jeanette Giles of Rocky Mount, Virginia passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. She was 84 years old. Born in Clinton, Tennessee, she was a resident of Franklin County, Virginia for more than 44 years. She is survived by her two sons, Joel Giles of Evergreen, Colorado and Jon Giles of New York City, New York. She is also survived by two sisters, Geraldine Gallaher of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Carol Lamb of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; two sisters-in-law, Janet Coyle and husband Harold of Dover, Ohio and Marlene Brick of Columbus, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her husband, Aaron Giles; father and mother, Charles and Pearl Freels; infant son, Corey Giles; sister Juanita Hatfield; and brothers-in-law Joseph Hatfield, James Gallaher, and John Lamb.  Her request was for a private service that will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021. The family wishes to thank her personal caregiver Angie McCauley.  Arrangements are provided by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
