Jeanne Ruth Ferron
Jeanne Ruth Ferron, age 86 formerly of Boones Mill, Va. passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Our Lady of the Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Nellie Bernard, her husband Robert G. Ferron, brother Raymond Bernard, sister Claire Turcotte. Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law; Bernard H. and Deborah R. Ferron, Edward G. Ferron, Richard R. and Deborah Ferron, daughters and sons-in-law; Doris F. and George I. Robertson, Denise F. and Richard Miller, Donna F. and Leighton Haley and 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister Doris Bernard. Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Rev. Rene Castillo officiating. Interment will follow in Penhook Pentecostal Holiness Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount/Smith Mtn. Lake.
