Jeffrey Leonard Alley

Jeffrey Leonard Alley, age 51 of Ferrum was taken to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Jeffrey was the son of Naomi and the late Leonard Alley of Rocky Mount, Va. He was a man of all trades. There wasn?t much he couldn?t do. Food, gardening, and mostly being a father were the highlights of his life. Surviving are his daughter, Roxie Alley, 26 and her husband; grandson, "Little man", six months; former wife, Connie Jefferson; mother, Naomi Alley; brothers, Greg Alley and wife, Brian Alley; nephews, Dwayne and Gavin Alley; and nieces, Alexandria and Alana Alley. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 12 noon Saturday with Steve Pasley, Minister officiating. Jeffrey will be laid to rest at the Alley-Hodges Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
