Jeffrey Scott Dunton, Sr. age 45 of Rocky Mount died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at his home after a long and courageous battle with a brain tumor.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Dunton; and his sister, Rebecca.
He left behind his wife of 25 years, Laurie Dunton; son, Jeffrey Dunton II; his granddaughter, Haley Dunton; his parents; four brothers; nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Brain Tumor Research 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
