Jerry Daniel Bryant

Jerry Daniel Bryant, 78 of Henry died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at UVA Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Estelle Bryant; siblings, David, Hugh and Joe Bryant, Page King and Ann Tyree. Jerry is survived by his wife, Gay P. Bryant; son, Mike (Belinda) Bryant; two beautiful granddaughters, Bridgit (DJ) Welch and Hannah Bryant; siblings, Betty Gardner and Sue Bowyer; in-laws, Ruth Bryant, Goldie Bryant, Carolyn and Linward Simmons, Mike and Darlene Plaster, Connie and Connie Plaster; mother-in-law, Lois Plaster; numerous special nieces and nephews. Jerry was a retired deputy with 30 years of service with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. He also served six years in the National Guard and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Collinsville. Funeral services will be conducted at Town Creek Primitive Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019 with Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
