Jerry Wayne Farris

Jerry Wayne Farris, age 59 of Rocky Mount went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, October 29, 2021 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 17, 1962, a son of the late James M. and Annie Farris. He was also preceded in death by a nephew Chad Evan English. Left to cherish his memory are his twin brother, Terry Farris (Susan) and brother Edward Farris; sisters, Wanda English (Terry) and Gloria Blankenship (Rocky); nephews, T.J. (Jessica), Jamie Farris and Tyler Blankenship; niece, Savannah Farris; great-nephews, Hayes and Holden Farris; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his Riverside Minute Market friends and customers. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2021 with Pastor Marshall Banks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
