Jerry Dean Plunkett

Jerry Dean Plunkett, 70 of Boones Mill passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jairus and Reba Plunkett. Jerry is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and David Zimmerman; and niece, Carrie Gibson (Jonathan). He was a lifelong member of Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren, graduate of Bridgewater College and retired from Finishmaster of Roanoke. Jerry also was active with Relay for Life. The family would like to thank the staff at Runk and Pratt, Forest for their loving care for Jerry during his struggle with Alzheimer's disease. A graveside memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Germantown Brick Church of the Brethren Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Huffman officiating.
