Jerry W. Young, Jr.

Jerry W. Young, Jr., 56, of North Scituate, passed away Friday, December 7, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Laurel A. (Taylor) Young. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, son of Jerry W. Young, Sr. of Elizabeth City, NC and the late Sammy J. (Wallace) Young. He was a member of the Grace Bible Church, Cranston. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by a brother, Kerry Young, of Front Royal, VA; 2 sisters, Rebecca Patrick of Bluemont, VA and Debra Dyke of Front Royal, VA.; his stepmother, Jo Ann Landreth Young of Elizabeth City, NC; 2 step-brothers, Rob Landreth of Elizabeth City, NC and Steven Landreth of Chespeake, VA and his sister-in-law, Marsha Barlow, of Clearwater, FL. His funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 10 a.m. in North Scituate Baptist Church, 619 West Greenville Rd. (Rt.116), North Scituate. Visitation Friday from 4-8pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44), Greenville. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet.
