Jesse Alvan Bowman

Jesse Alvan Bowman, age 20, of 4141 Alean Rd, Boones Mill, Va. died Saturday, July 8, 2017. Surviving are his parents, Gerald and Martha (Sink) Bowman; three brothers, Isaac, Daniel and wife Renee and three children, Titus and wife Beth; three sisters, Esther and Neil Mohler and five children, Anna and Winter Etter, Jr. and nine children, and Miriam; grandfather, Odell Bowman. Also a special friend, Rachael Bryant. He was preceded in death by one brother, Joel; one niece, Amanda Mohler; one nephew, Quentin Etter; grandparents, Joanna Bowman and Willie and Evelyn Sink. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Meetinghouse. Funeral services will be conducted at Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Meetinghouse, 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. The family asks that flowers be omitted. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
