Jesse Thomas Hodges

On the evening of March 13, 2018 Thomas returned home to be with the Lord. Thomas was born on November 18, 1939 to Doris and Jesse Hodges. Thomas went by many names, Tommy, Jesse, Pops but most of all Rock as he was the rock and strength of the family. Pops enjoyed working with his hands building and was a contractor most of his life. In his free time he enjoyed playing pool, cards, gambling with friends and admiring cars. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his great grandsons. Tommy is preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara “Bobbi” Hodges, and her brother who was dear to his heart, Phillip “Pete” Altice. He has also been reunited with his brothers, Eugene and Lacy Hodges; his mother, Doris and Father, Jesse Hodges. Tommy is survived by his son, Thomas Mark Hodges; daughter-in-law, Yvette Hodges; two grandsons, Brandon Hodges wife Savanna, Ryan Hodges; Tommy also leaves behind two great grandsons, Rhayza and Zyn Hodges, whom he adored. We would like to thank the staff at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab for providing love and care to Tommy. He loved you all dearly. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the home of Brandon Hodges from 2:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with the final expenses.
