Jesse Judson Holley

Jesse Judson Holley, Sr., age 73 of Henry died Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was born July 28, 1936 a son of the late Genus and Grace Holley. He was also preceded in death by his children, Jesse J. Holley, Jr. and Michael Shawn Holley; and sister, Lynda Holly Goodwin. Surviving are his wife, Ann Thomason Holley; children, George Thomas Holley, Rebecca Guffey and husband Michael, Melissa Solomon and husband Danny, Michelle Lester and husband Stephen; step-children, Marvin Gillispie, Margie Setliff, Lewis Gillispie; grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Christy Solomon, Michael Genus Holley, Stephen (Bubba) Lester, Nichole Lester, Judson Holley, James Lester; step-grandchildren, Kevin Gillispie, Andy Gillispie, Randy Joe Setliff; great-grandchild, Ryleigh Grace Solomon; sisters, Phyllis Holley Reyes and Shirley Holley Martin. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Joe Dillon and Rev. Bud Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Holley Family Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Henry Community Fire Department, c/o Chief Tim Tatum, 2199 Old Henry Road, Henry, Virginia 24102. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral & Cremation Service, Rocky Mount.
