Jessie H. Perdue

Jessie Susan Hundley Perdue, age 89 of Rocky Mount went home to be with the Lord April 28, 2015. She retired from E.I. DuPont with 32 years of service. She was a devout Christian and worshiped as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thomas Hundley and Jessie Clark Hundley; husband, Floyd Allen Perdue; sister, Crystal Hundley Clarke; and brothers, Benford Hundley, Melvin Hundley. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Perdue Lynch (Jimmy); brother and sister-in-law, Douglas Hundley (Frances); several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Eddie Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
