Jimmy Lee Furrow, 69 of Rocky Mount passed away Monday, January 4, 2016. He was born January 25, 1946 and preceded in death by his wife, Juanita and father, Murray. Surviving are his mother, Thelma; children, Tena Cundiff and son-in-law Mike, Tracie Ayers and son-in-law Tim, Darrell Manning and fiancé Tammi, and J.L. Furrow and daughter-in-law Mary; grandchildren, Scott, Michael and Josh Cundiff, and Michelle Manning; sisters, Bonnie Taylor and brother-in-law Kenny, Wendy Clements and brother-in-law Robert; sister-in-law and friend, Charlotte Meeks-Ballowe; many other special friends. He was a member of Rocky Mount Moose Lodge. A special thanks to all his friends that took him to his doctor appointments. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Ron Coleman officiating. In lieu of flowers, his family suggest memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of his mother, Thelma Furrow.
