Jo Anne Hylton Fisher

Jo Anne Hylton Fisher, age 93 of Boones Mill went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born January 16, 1931 a daughter of the late Lewis and Reba B. Hylton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lester Fisher; sisters, Ruby H. Marsteller and Sharon H. Alonso; sons-in-law, Donald W. Boitnott and Steven V. Mizak. Surviving are her three daughters, Lyndall (Lynn) F. Boitnott, Kathryn F. Mizak; and Kimberlee F. Weeks and husband, Barry Weeks, Sr.; five grandchildren, Maria Weaver and husband, Chris Weaver, Greg Mizak and wife, Leigh Mizak, Chris Mizak and wife, Megan Mizak, Jessica Weeks and her friend, Shaheim Merchant, and Barry Weeks, Jr. and Andrea; great-grandchildren, Kristen (Jack), Jennifer (Dakota), Magen (Bryce), Carson, Colton, Carrington, Chase, Barry III, and Amelia; great-great-grandchildren, Pamela, Kinslee, Bentley and Jacklyn; brother, Lew Hylton (Cherie); brother-in-law, Steve Alonso; sister-in-law, Edith Fisher; many nieces and nephews; and best friend, Bessie Henegar. Special thanks to Affinity Hospice and staff including, Clark, Jessica, Dottie, Sandra, Latajah and Rachel. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
