Joan Young Moore

Joan Alma Young Moore, age 59 of Collinsville Va. was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was surrounded by her family. Joan was born April 14, 1951 and was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Ruth Young; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Dolly Moore; loving brother-in-law, Kenny Moore; and nephew, Rusty Moore. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will always live on in our hearts. Surviving are her beloved husband of 45 years, Bobby R. Moore, Sr.; son, Bobby R. Moore, Jr. and wife Christina and their daughter, Dakota; daughter, Sunday Wise and husband, Danny Ray their children, Billy Ray and Johanna Summer; Michael Marsh and wife Missy and daughter Mitzi; brothers, James Thomas Young and Clyde Earl Young and their families; sister, Charlene Young-Hall and husband Bobby Hall; sister-in-law, Candy Moore; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family. Memorial services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel in Rocky Mount 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 with Rev. Denver Turner officiating.
