Joann Conner Hartman

JoAnn Conner Hartman, age 65 of Boones Mill, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. She worked at Tultex for 34 years and retired from Home Shopping Network. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Cora Conner; brothers, Dennis and Lester Conner. She is survived by her life long husband of 49 years, Larry Hartman of Boones Mill; her son, Larry Anthony Hartman and daughter-in-law Kim; two grandchildren, Kayla and Brandon Hartman all of Floyd, Va. Also surviving are a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Steele officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
