Joanna R. Bowman

Joanna R. Bowman, age 86 of Boones Mill, wife of Odell K. Bowman passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. Survivors include her husband; children, Helen, Diane and Darrell Flora, Gerald and Martha Bowman, Carolyn and Charles Austin, and Glenna and Jeff Bayer; 19 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. and the funeral Wednesday at 10 a.m., all at Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 101 Elam Lane, Boones Mill. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. We greatly appreciate the kind and loving care provided by Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Carilion Hospice of Franklin County.
