Joanne Casserino Lempeck

Joanne Casserino-Lempeck, age 71 of Virginia, passed away on July 1, 2022. She is survived by her sons, Christian Lempeckski, Jason Lempeck; and grandson, Bryson Lempeckski. Joanne is also survived by her sister, Carleen Casserino-Strang; and brothers, Carl and Daniel Casserino. Along with many nephews and nieces and longtime friends, Karen Folsom Booker and Melissa Lempeckski. She is predeceased by her husband, Ted Lempeck; and her parents, Carmelo and Audrey Casserino. Joanne, born in Middletown, graduated Mercy High School in 1969. She put herself through college to become an Adult Education Teacher. She lived in Virginia with her husband and sons and became a teacher in the Roanoke area. Joanne was a kind hearted, religious, earthly angel. She helped many of those in need. She loved family and Christmas! She could never get enough of talking on the phone. So Joanne, we will miss that phone ringing and you will forever be in our hearts! Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith Fellowship Church with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
