Joe Daniel Joyce

Joe Daniel Joyce, Jr., 47, of Virginia Beach, Va. and formerly of Rocky Mount passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Joe retired from the United States Navy Seabees as a chief after 27 years service. He enlisted when he was 18 years old and while in the Navy served in Guam, Spain, Philippines and Okinawa Diego Garcia, Puerto Rico and Honduras. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Daniel Joyce, Sr. Surviving are his wife, Renelda Barba Joyce; two sons, Joseph Joyce and Brandon Joyce; mother and stepfather, Ann Greenwood Joyce Cooper and John A. Cooper; and many friends, aunts and uncles. Memorial graveside service will be conducted 11:00 Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Franklin Memorial Park with Rev.
