Joe Robert Lynch

Joe Robert Lynch, age 91 of Boones Mill died Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Louise Lynch; parents, Charlie and Ocie Foley Lynch; and eight siblings, Lola Holley, Verna Clemmons, Catherine Williams, Dolly Spangler, Gladys Minnich, Jean Pate, Jane Gibson and Jesse Samuel Lynch. Mr. Lynch was a retired farmer and had a great determination in life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his children, Steve Lynch (Elaine) and William “Bill” Lynch; special nephew, Danny Lynch (Virginia); two granddaughters, Suzanne and Cathleen; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Phylicia; two great-great-grandchildren, Dallas and Dakota; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at the Yopp Family Cemetery (Dugspur Rd., Callaway) 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the American Alzheimer’s Association. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
