Joel Kirby Atkins

Joel Kirby Atkins, age 48 of Endicott passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, James Atkins; and brothers, Jimmy Atkins and Jesse Atkins. Surviving are his son, Jeremy Keith Atkins; mother, Gladys Atkins; brothers, Jerry Atkins (Susie) and Justin Atkins; special friend, Kathy Hood Weaver. Funeral services will be conducted at Endicott Assembly of God 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 with Pastor Calvin Hickson officiating. Interment will follow at the Boyd Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
