John Allen Carter

John Allen Carter age 72, of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday November 16, 2012. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Archie Carl Carter and Louemma Young Carter, a daughter Sherry Carter young, a sister Jean Carter. Surviving are his children Melissa Carter and John Allen Carter II, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters Ginger Carter Freeding and Frances Ferguson. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Tilley officiating. His family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
