John Young Barr

John Young Barr, age 90, of Hardy Va. passed away Monday, February 22, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at a later date in Ellwood City, PA.

John is survived by his wife, loving friend and caregiver, Shirley Riney Barr; daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Richard Greiner of Huntington Beach, CA; four grandsons: John Houston (Rachel), Thomas, Gregory (Karen) and Qui Greiner; granddaughter, Kelli Greiner; and two great-grandsons: Graham and Leon Greiner.

John is predeceased by his parents George and Elma Young Barr, his son John Thomas Barr; brother George Kerr Barr, and sister Martha Ann Barr Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in John's name to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 13586 Old Moneta Road, Moneta, Va. 24121
