John Randy Bates, Sr. age 67 of Danville passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019. John enjoyed playing pool, camping and watching westerns. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randy and Frances Bates; son, John Randy Bates, Jr.; sister and brothers, Gladys, Douglas, Jerry Wayne, Ray and Ricky. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sarah Ayers and husband Travis; sister, Margaret Bolton; former wife, Ruth Bates; daughter-in-law, Laury Bates; he was adored by his 7 Grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews.
