John Adams Cooper, Sr.

John A. Cooper, Sr., age 85 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, August 9, 2012. He was born December 7, 1926 in Roanoke, Virginia a son of the late Willard and Helen Cooper. He was also preceded in death by sibling, Janet Rose Cooper; and step-son, Joe Daniel Joyce. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Ann Greenwood Cooper; and son, John A. Cooper, Jr. He was a member of Rocky Mount Christian Church. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
